Saigon – One of the Most Beautiful Cities in the World

I have lived in many cities and towns around the world.  Istanbul, Turkey, with all of it's historical cathedrals and mosques is one of my favorites.  Almaty, Kazakhstan, a city I really wanted to call home at one time, is of of my other favorites.  Both Almaty and Istanbul are very beautiful cities but in the end, though, it's Saigon that I would call home. SUV got stuck in Saigon

Not sure what this guy was thinking.  One of my student called me over to show me the brown SUV.  The poor guy was trying to squeeze in between a pile of construction soil and a van.  He just kind of just stayed there with everyone looking.  Eventually another driver helped the SUV maneuver out. Strange Accident this morning

This morning I was headed to Pham Ngu Lao to meet an American friend who arrived from Kazakhstan via Thailand.  I headed out of my house at about 8:10 AM knowing that I would hit the traffic jam along the canal.
