Tet is only 7 hours away. Saigon is very quiet today, hardly any traffic on the streets today. This is the best time of the year to live in Saigon, the only time the city is actually quiet :-) I never made it to Big C this morning to buy some groceries. Most of the stores closed at 12 noon. My poor Dell Inspiron 8100 notebook died on me again today. The same thing happened back in April, 2006. Like before, the power supply unit burned out. It survived just shy of 6 years. Yesterday I went out with some of my friends to get a haircut. Maybe that was a mistake on my part. I just wanted a haircut but I was convinced to get a shave too. See the truck in the far distance? Lately, both cars and trucks have been ignoring the ban forbidding them to drive along the canal during the construction. The police used to enforce the regulation but lately, the have been quite lax.
