Three more houses need to be renovated still to widen the alleyway. My landlord thinks it may take another year or so. Two of my neighbors cannot afford to rebuild their houses. It is not stopping the People's Committee though. They have sent a construction crew to tear up our alleyway and lay in new concrete sewage pipes.
