Yesterday afternoon I joined my SaigonTech students to celebrate 4 July birthdays. I met them all at about 4:30 PM at Lang Nuong Nam Bo in District 10. We ate a lot, drank too much, had loads of fun. Wow, I was on Cach Mang Thang Tam yesterday at 4:30 PM, the traffic was heavy especially at this round about. There has been a large increase in the number of cars AND motorbikes in the last couple of years. Congestion has become the norm here with both motorbikes and cars fighting for open space in the road. Friday night I was at the Hoa Vien Brauhaus (Czech Beerhouse) on 28 bis Mac Dinh Chi Street in District 1. It was a nice place to relax and spend some time with friends. After a horrible morning trying to pay my electricity and phone bills, I decided to join the infamous Ly from Diamond Superbowl at MGM. Music was quite loud. Aircon made the room too cold.
