Air Pollution in Almaty
It was bound to happen. My Kazakh friends in Vietnam warned me about this. Almaty has pollution problem due to the large amounts of cars in the city. Today there was a temperature inversion which is trapping the polluted air towards the ground. The clear sky we had this morning has been replaced by smog by the afternoon.
