Japan Airlines Boeing 747 - Osaka Kansai International Airport

My favorite airlines.  I wanted to be a Japan Airlines 747 pilot as a kid.  I always enjoy flying on this airline.  JAL no longer has any 747 in it's fleet so this is more of a nostalgic photo then anything.  I took this picture at the Osaka Kansai International Airport in May, 2002. … [Read more...] about Japan Airlines – 2002

Forward Slip - Boeing Field, Seattle, Washington

Since I was a kid, I wanted to be a pilot.  As a kid, I wanted to be a Japan Airlines pilot.  In college I instead wanted to be a Marine Corps pilot.  I got close when I was a Flight Equipment Marine but it was not real.  Unfortunately, my military injuries kept me from achieving both goals. I forgot about flying.  It slipped my mind then in 1995, I decided to take a short … [Read more...] about Forward Slip
