Manas International Airport is different today then back in 1999. Now the US military stations some of its troops the Manas Air Base. Back in 1999, Manas was a newly built airport with just one jetway. Cessna 152
My faithful Cessna 152. Just a two-seater, not a whole lot of horsepower. Still fun to fly. I took this plane from Seattle, Washington, to Hillsboro, Oregon. It was my long cross-country. I landed at Kelso, Washington, for a touch and go and later McMinnville, Oregon, for another touch and go. I landed in Hillsboro for lunch and then flew directly back to Seattle.
