One of my favorite dishes at Baba’s Kitchen is the Northern Thali. According to Baba’s Kitchen’s menu, a thali is:
“…is a complete meal with curries, vegetables, rice ,bread, and dessert. We offer North and South Indian thalis, with vegetarian and chicken options. Northern dishes are creamy and mild, while Southern dishes are more spicy.“
Since I tend to prefer less spicy food, I opted for the Northern Thali which contains the following items:
- Three vegetable curries -or- Two vegetable curries and a chicken curry
- Papadam,
- Naan bread,
- Rice yogurt, and
- Dessert
You can get your Northern Thalis at all Baba’s Kitchen locations every weekdays. Chicken Northern thali are 150,000 VND. Vegetarian Thalis are 140,000 VND. All thalis are halal so Muslim customers can enjoy the food as well.
