My iPad

Friday, December 17, 2010 By kevmille

I consider this one of my best buys ever. I picked up my iPad in Palo Alto after visiting Stanford. I started liking the iPad after seeing a Japanese businessman play with it for nearly 8 hours on the 14.5 hour flight from Hong Kong to Chicago.

I had looked at the Samsung Galaxy Android tablet but I was not impressed. It was too small and bluntly, there were more games with the iPad.

I will use my iPad for work and play. I plan to launch a software in Vietnam using the iPad as a marketting too.

I guess I am finally an Apple guy bit I will remain a loyal Linux and Android user as well : -).

Congrats on the ipad. Good to know you are not of of those narrow minded folks. A good product is a good product, not matter its manufacturer.

For me, I wanted something for work (spreadsheet, word document, presentation) plus games. The iPad fit the build. I can run Linux on my desktop and netbook still.

It is really a good buy.

Just curious. I guess you bought the wifi unless one of the carriers in Viet Nam offer 3g for the iPad.

I got the 3G, you can use 3G in Saigon with Viettel or Mobifone.
