Indus Indian Restaurant and Bon Mua Four Seasons Restaurant - Halal in Saigon

Two more halal restaurants I happened to pass by.  While at Java Cafe, I kept seeing Muslims heads towards this end of Dong Du street.  Well, now I know. 🙂  I will visit both restaurants next week after the launch of my new Muslim travel site.

Foods in Bon Mua are good and worthy, but I wouldn’t expect anything extraordinary.

Thanks Tom. I will try it on Monday. I will launch my Muslim travel site this weekend. Maybe you can give some reviews of some halal restaurants.

Indus Indian restaurant (beside Bon Mua) is not a halal restaurant for muslim. It’s having a halal signboard at the entrance but thru my 5 years experience working and living in dist.1, the owner of this restaurant is Hindu Indian (ex cook for Indian ambassador) and his Vietnamese wife is a free thinker, level 3 of this restaurant renovated and become a bar & full with wine, spirits, beer etc..) all muslim’s must avoid going to this restaurant…

I will discuss this with the owner in a week. I hear these rumors many times usually from Malaysians and some local Muslims. Several people have confirmed that his meat is halal but I understand concerns.
