Before the Saigon Rain

Sunday, August 19, 2007 By kevmille

Sunday afternoon in Saigon is always plagued with ‘potential’ rainstorms. On my way to District 1 from the Phu Nhuan District, I had to stop twice to put on my raincoat only to take it off a couple minutes later. When I parked in front of the Main Post Office in Saigon, I took these shots about 5 minutes before the downpour. Saigon is always beautiful during this time, very Seattle-like. 🙂

Saigon is one of the most beautiful cities in the World!

I can see that Kevin has been busy. Saigon looks so calm when there is nobody around. I’m surprise! It’s not so bad in the city.

Today was very peaceful but that was because it looked like it was going to rain 🙂 One way to keep people in doors…

I certainly agree that Saigon is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, compteting even with San Francisco and Seattle. I can hardly wait to get back to HCMC in a week.
