My genes are responsible for me not learning a tonal language
23andme just did an update that allowed me to see the results of more of my genes. The most interesting gene that I looked at was for SNP rs41310927. This gene has been studied linking it to the ability to learn tonal languages (see end of article). Hence, if a person's can learn a tonal language, it must come from their genes. WeGene says I am part Chinese
About a month ago I decided to to upload my 23andme dna results to WeGene. Within a day I got my results. Just look at the image below, WeGene says I am part Chinese. It also said I have Kyrgyz blood as well! I doubt this though. The database is still small. It should read that I am 50 percent Japanese with almost 2 percent East Asian. Aber, Just as good as UberMoto?
I tried out Aber this week. With it's name, you would think they are trying to replace Uber in Saigon. It makes good marketing sense. There are many disgruntled former UberMoto drivers out there.
