Another memory post. It is hard to believe that Smokey passed away nearly 5 years ago. He was in so many of my blog posts for SaigonNezumi.com. I still remember this day well. Smokey was actually poisoned in my Phu Nhuan District house. The vets felt he could have drank the mop water but he could have also eaten an aspirin as well. I never found out. Chilly – 17 C morning in Almaty
Just woke up. Today is Independence Day in Kazakhstan. No work today and tomorrow. It also means I get to see the sunrise over the Alatau Mountains at my house. It is currently - 17 C outside. Air Astana KC907 over the Alatau Mountains (Kyrgyzstan)
I missed flying over the Alatau Mountains. The last time I ever took photos from the air over Kyrgzystan was on an Air Kyrgyzstan flight from Osh to Bishkek. I remember taking many photos.
