It has been 15 years since I last took photos of the Alatau Mountains from an airplane. In 1999, I was flying with Air Kyrgyzstan on flights from Bishkek to Osh and back. Today I will with Air Astana on a flight from Almaty to New Delhi. The mountains are still amazingly beautiful.
