One of the most usual forms of transportation in Almaty is the private taxis. Normally in Kazakhstan, any car can be a taxi. Private taxis are cheaper than company taxis and you can pretty much hail them everywhere. Hanger 13 Crossfit Gym in Almaty
This week I found a good gym to workout in Almaty called Hanger 13. It is the first Crossfit gym in Almaty. I just happened to read about it online through Internations. The gym is not cheap, about $100 USD per month but worth it. I love the equipment. I workout after classes so I can avoid the Crossfit crowd which comes near 6 pm. My first Kazakhstan snowfall
I knew it was found to happen. Today it finally snowed in the early morning. Unfortunately it was the wet snow which makes walking very difficult. My right toe is still swollen so I could not wear my boots yet. Still it was pretty. Not so cold, just wet.
