I spent Day 4 of Tet with my Vietnamese friend and his family just outside of Bien Hoa yesterday. Bien Hoa is a suburb of Saigon now and a really nice small city. The people are very friendly. Time to move to Funtoo Linux
I have been planning to move to Funtoo Linux, a derivative of Gentoo Linux, for over a month now. The install is basically the same as a Gentoo installation. Co Do Farm – Can Tho Province
I spent a day in the Co Do Farm region. The Co Do area I was at was roughly 50 km from Can Tho. I took a Mai Linh Taxi all the way there. Cost me only about 440,000 VND ($26 USA). Taxi is still relatively cheap to travel between cities if it is a must. Co Do Farm is actually more a commune in Communist terminology. Downtown Can Tho city
Unlike Saigon, Can Tho is a good walking city. I was surprised how much I walked last Sunday. I got the blisters to prove it. I took a short walk to see parts of the city on Tet Eve.
