Testing Gentoo 2008.0_beta1
I have spent the last couple of days trying to get Gentoo 2008.0_beta1 installed. Each install attempt was followed by a kernel panic. First I thought it was with GRUB but later I realized I was having SATA problems. Seems the problem is related to the new 2.6.24-gentoo-r4 kernel. VNPT just announced they will increase internet speeds (and prices) for new and existing customers. Some customers, depending on their packages, may see speeds increase between 1-9 Mbps!
