Yesterday, Tony, his wife, and I attended the Vietnam Computer Electronics World Expo 2007. I came around 10:30 AM and ended staying over 2 hours. My frien, Mai, helped out with the designing of the venue. The show was very interesting, quite crowded, but worth the visit. Unfortunately, while taking some pictures, I lost the stylix to my Motorola E6 Rokr. I will spend the day in Saigon trying to look for a replacement. Here are some nice picture highlights from the Expo:
(Yep, the Computer Electronics Expo was packed)
(Gigabyte’s display – I am a fan of MSI)
(Nice routers)
(Many displays of tower cases but most were not suited for Vietnam)
(Sony’s HD TV is great for gaming)
(Yeah, Vinagames – I like the future competitor, Games Corner)
(Acer’s kit Lamborghini and Laptop)
(Inte’s Venue was nice and quie loud)
(Can’t avoid taking a picture of Canon’s pretty girl)
(Nice rack)
(How did I get on this screen)
(Yep, speaker’s were displayed as well – That’s me…)
(…and Tony)

You were a speaker? What did you speak about? Something Linux related? Were most of the talks in english or vietnamese? Did you have a translator for your talk?
Annie says
Nice rack?????
SaigonNezumi (Kevin) says
@Tracy:
Talks were in Vietnamese and English. We were given headphones when we needed translations. The guests had headphones too.
We talked about open source and how it can help Vietnam. The discussion went very well.
@Annie: Yeah, nice rack, very clean 🙂
