Again I am surprised by how poor the air is in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. I expected it to be better in the rainy season. Consistently Shanghai’s air has been cleaner than the air in Ho Chi Minh City. This was not expected especially with a constant wind blowing in the city.
I hear that factories are moving to Vietnam from China due to lower labor costs. Maybe this is one reason that the air is getting poorer inside Vietnam.
This is also a good time to switch to ebikes as in Shanghai.

Both Vietnam cities are using readings from The US Consulate and US Embassy. For Shanghai, the reading uses the US measurement for AQI.
