Last Thursday, we had our informal first meetup of Alumni from the University of Washington who are currently in Vietnam. We met up at Carl’s, Jr., and then finished off at Highlands. There was just three of us from the UW; Tam, Quynh Anh, and I. We also had a Ohio State University straggler with us who was kind enough to take the below photo for us.
Tam is leading the University of Washington Alumni of Vietnam group. Join up if you want to meet and promote Husky pride in Vietnam. Notice we all are wearing purple… 🙂
(Me, Quynh Anh, and Tam – Go Huskies!!!)

I am also a UW grad and will be locating to VN later this year. Will look you guys up at that time. Just curious, your CV states you graduated in ’96 from the UW with a double degree, but I do not see matching info on the UW Degree Validation website. However, there is a Kevin Anthony Miller who earned a BA (Sociology) on March 16, 2001.

The UW no longer offers a double degree, just double majors and I think minors now. Essentially a double degree is just two separate bachelor diplomas. In Vietnam, I just use my masters.
