Last Thanksgiving I experienced the worst traffic jam in Saigon. I was taking a GrabBike to District 1. The driver decided to go via Ton Duc Thang street. It was the biggest mistake ever. The normal 5-10 minute ride took an awful 30 minutes. I ended up getting off and walking.
The traffic is expected to get worse.
