Traffic Jam on Nguyen Van Troi street

Friday, February 27, 2009 By kevmille

This is becoming all too common these days.  Well, for awhile now.  Traffic jams related to the construction lasts all day now.  This particular traffic jam may be annoying for most.  The barricade on Nguyen Van Troi is actually for some equipment, well it looks that way.

The problem is that it looks out of place since all of the construction is further down the road towards Tan Binh.

A friend mentioned that many of the workers, who do not have homes, are selecting good areas to sleep.  This may be one of them.

Parts of the canal has barricades with good views of the canal.  The fences remain up even after the construction finished.

This is Saigon… :-)

I would love to be in that traffic jam and people watch. Having visited in 2006, and 2007, what an atmosphere, to see a million people a day, perhaps more.
