After being gone for nearly 3 years, Japan Airlines brought back the tsurumaru livery featuring the popular crane. It was added to a Boeing 767.
Since JAL’s removal of the famous crane from it’s livery, Japan Airlines has had bad luck financially while watching its own quality and service drop below international levels. Many Japanese feel that the return of the crane will also mean the return of a high quality airline.
Personally, Japan Airlines is my favorite airline but right now I only fly EVA Air. I hope I can start booking flights with JAL again in the near future.

I was in Narita & had to stay over night on the way to Saigon last Jan. I hope for more flights/day to VN.

Yeah, I agree. I want to fly JAL from Vietnam to the US if they can lower their fares some…
