I can't remember when the canal looked normal. Definitely over a year now. The beauty of the canal is long gone. The roads along the canal are filled with potholes. Dust is everywhere. I had lunch the other day at Al Fresco's Mac Dinh Chi location with Patrick in Saigon. I ordered a mushroom burger and we both shared some really good nachos.
