Well, traveling and working around the world, I did not keep up with any technology news. Unfortunately for me, it meant I missed the change to systemctl to run daemon services with the newest release of CentOS 7. Imagine last summer what I went through trying to get a server running after I upgraded it from CentOS 6 to 7. Well, I have been looking for a good article to explain why there was a change.
