Today’s post will look at three Saigon vloggers that are currently active in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) that I watch.
Joyce Le
Joyce Le is a Singaporean Expat that resides in Saigon. Her vlog focuses on her life in Saigon that includes her daily routines to visiting various restaurants and coffee shops. She also speaks Vietnamese adding English subtitles to her vlogs. Her below vlog looks at the Saigon cafes to visit in the summer.
Ancari Room
Ancari Room is run by Akari Nakatani, a Japanese expat vlogger who arrived to Saigon in 2016. Her vlog, which means eat (an) curry (cari) in Vietnamese, is interesting since she posts in three languages; Japanese, English and Vietnamese. Her Vietnamese is quite good in her below vlog, she explains how you can learn to speak Vietnamese.
I actually did not know who Akari was until she and her friends did a version of Tokyo Bon in Saigon.
Vietcetera even did a post about Ancari Room at their website.
Antonio Gravita’s FirePoAm
FirePoAm is a vlog that looks at all the emergency vehicles in Saigon. He updates quite frequently so you will see many videos of the traffic police escorting dignitaries, fire trucks, ambulances, etc. Really interesting to watch.
I am addicted to his vlog updates to be honest.
Will SaigonNezumi add vlogs?
Probably not but I do want to work on some videos with several other expats and Vietnamese to help look at life in Saigon. In the meantime, after I update the theme to SaigonNezumi (in about two weeks), I will start a Saigon Vloggers page to list active vloggers, not travel vlogs, in Saigon. I will also update my Saigon Bloggers list as well.
