Since I get a lot of visitors from Malaysia these days, I decided to post a picture that they may like. Saigon has it’s very own Petronas Tower in District 1 on Nguyen Van Cu street opposite of District 5. Petronas is in Vietnam to open it’s own wells outside of Vung Tau.
I am always surprised at how many people I meet from the oil industry here in Vietnam. In 2006, I met the guys that sold Vietnam it’s first oil rig. I also have some friends from PetroVietnam, my former student’s father is a director for one of PV’s subsidiaries. Now I have a friend from Petronas. Some of you should say I should sell oil then. 🙂 I have tried actually, I got a quota from Azerbaijan of all places. I just can’t find a buyer, yet…
