For some odd reason, I get a lot of insomnia in Saigon. Today is another one of those nights that I cannot sleep. I did drink a cup of masala tea at 4 pm today but it really should not have affected me that much. It was one small cup.
Hmm, time to count sheep I guess. Just wish Hoshi would stop chasing them while I am counting. 🙂
“My” Saigon used to be a bad place for insomnia. In 2001, my Mother-in-law’s neighborhood of old Than Binh rolled up the sidewalks by 11pm or so. State TV was off-line by 11 it seems too.
I am sure there are other places to go now, and cable TV and internet. I guess by comparison, where I live now seems dead all the time. Perspective, I guess.
