While in Yogyakarta, I stayed at the ibis Yogyakarta hotel. I chose this hotel since I really enjoyed the ibis hotel I stayed at in Singapore. ibis Yogyakarta is located on Malioboro Street right next to the Malioboro Mall (entrance to the mall is in the hotel). ibis Yogyakarta was an okay hotel though I did have hot water issues in the shower. My view was okay, I had wished they given me a higher room.
While in Yogyakarta, I was fed up with the many tourists at the popular restaurants listed in TripAdvisor. Hence I just ate at the restaurant in the hotel which was really good and worth the price. Plus no waiting for a table. 🙂
