A long term favorite for Thai food is Golden Elephant located in District 1 (on Hai Ba Trung street just down the road from Mai Linh Taxi’s main office). It was one of the first Thai restaurants I ever visited when I moved to Saigon. Great food, reasonable prices, good service. I visited there with Annie today. We ordered some crispy fish dish, green curry with prawns, sticky rice and Thai ice tea. It was pretty good as usual.
