In my ever search for good protein powder for my workouts, today I found a store that offers what I need. I have always looked for casein protein powder in Saigon but today was the first time I actually found it. I also wanted to find the Dymatize products of protein powder as well in Vietnam. Dymatize got good reviews by lifters in the US and Canada.
After searching the web, I found that Thucphamtheothao.com offered protein powder. Originally I was going to visit the store, 166 Dinh Tien Hoang in District 1, and purchase the whey and casein protein from Gold Standard. When I met Ms. Tram at her shop, she said the order would come in at the end of June. That is when I saw the Dymatize on display (see pictures below).
Hence, she sold me a 5 lbs of Dymatize Whey Protein for 1,600,000 VND (10 lbs is 2,800,000 VND) and Dymatize Casein Protein for 900,000 VND. I could have gotten the whey protein for 10 lbs at a better price but I wanted to test it first (I had 10 lbs of Ultimate Nutrition Whey Protein that upsets my stomach).

For those who do not know, whey protein is normally taken before and after workouts (I only take them after) since it gets absorbed fast. Casein is taken in the afternoon or before you sleep since it absorbs slower. My major weight gain in my life came from using casein protein.
