Another memorable day. My IT assistant, Lang, and I brought these donations of backpacks, school uniforms, and notebooks to Tuoi Tre News. They were donated by the Horizon International Bilingual School here in Saigon. They were supposed to head to some needy children in Nha Trang. Getting these donations meant having to pack two motorbikes to the max. It made for an interesting ride across town to Tuoi Tre News. We made it but sadly the news does not end in a good note. We have no idea if these donations ever made it to Nha Trang and to the needy children. The reporter who worked at Tuoi Tre News had her own unregistered nonprofit. She never send any thank you letters, photos, or any proof that these donations made it to the recipients. 🙁
