Occassionally during Lucky’s morning walk along the canal, you see a couple of men in a boat pulling out the trash from the canal. The canal is actually cleaner than it was several years ago but it still is not relatively safe to swim in. Maybe in 5-10 years.

Oddly enough, the trash collectors dump the garbage they collect into the canal. Once or twice a week, the guys in the boat clean it out of the canal. The routine starts over again.
