La Casa Mexican just opened opened in Pham Ngu Lao over a week ago. It is run by the same original owner of Margarita. Due to its location, the restaurant is quite packed though the Mexican food is pretty much the same quality as Margarita. The portions were a bit small, not really worth the price. Hai Yen Travel (2006)
The Hai Yen Travel budget travel agency was run by my friend, Quan, who taught me a lot about Vietnamese culture and the Vietnamese way of thinking. He asked me to create a logo for his travel agency so I decided to use the one from my SaigonNezumi.com blog at the time. Quan passed away after a boating accident in Can Tho back in 2009. I lived in the Phu Nhuan District of Saigon for over 4 years. I rented my own house and enjoyed the many years there.
