Yamaha Nouvo Repair

Monday, August 7, 2006 By kevmille

Well, after my accident yesterday, this morning I needed to get it repaired. I normally goto the Yamaha Service Center located in District 5 (6 Tran Phu, Phuong 4, Quan 5, TP. HCM). This center has a good reputation with expats. They never overcharge you and I normally leave a big tip.

Anyway, they were able to fix my left front brake easily. As for my problem in my rear wheel, turns out that the ball bearings were broken. Nothing major. They just replaced them with new ones. Cost me around 70,000 VND ($4.40 US) and a 30,000 VND ($3.00 US) tip. After spending 30 minutes at the Yamaha Service Center, I headed for District 11 to repair the scratches and replace my front fender guard. I went to my friend’s shop (Dat Thanh, 578 Nguyen chi Thanh, Phuong 7, Quan 11, TP. HCM). I paid another 40,000 VND ($3.40 US) for repairs.

In total, the accident cost me about 140,000 VND (About $10 US) in repairs. Not bad for Vietnam 🙂
