Glossary
Short forms this site's own text uses. Each is also explained where it appears, by its abbr title.
- WCAG 2.2
- The W3C standard these pages are built to measure themselves against, in its 2.2 version.
- AA
- The second-strongest conformance level of WCAG 2.2. The site aims to meet it everywhere.
- AAA
- The strongest conformance level of WCAG 2.2. The site meets the AAA criteria that can apply to its own templates, and states the rest as exceptions.
- IP address
- The address a network gives a device. Third-party video providers may see it when you choose to load their videos; this site's own measurement does not store it.
- ARIA
- The W3C vocabulary used to name and describe controls for assistive technology. When our checkers report ARIA problems inside a YouTube player, those attributes belong to the player, not to this site.
- COGA
- The W3C task force whose guidance, Making Content Usable for People with Cognitive and Learning Disabilities, goes beyond WCAG 2.2. SaigonNezumi will try to meet it eventually. It does not claim to meet it today.
