I just finished watching the film, “The Rebel (Dong Mau Anh Hung)“. The Rebel is a nice Hong Kong-like action film taking place in 1922 Vietnam when the French still controlled Indochina. If you like Vietnamese love stories with a lot of action, this is one to watch.

Vietnam in 1922 is under colonial French ruling, and anti-French rebellions by peasants have emerged all over the country. In response, the French have activated units of Vietnamese secret agents to track and destroy the rebels.
