My Japan Airlines collection

I like to collect small diecast Japan Airline airliners.  It may be no surprise to some that I do this since I am an airline buff.  In the past I collected plastic models but unfortunately they do not handle long trips across the Pacific very well.  Hence, I switched to diecast.  I already had a Boeing 747, now a collector’s item, and DC-10.  On my last trip to the US I picked up a cargo Boeing 747 and Boeing 727.  I will keep collecting until I have all the planes I like and then I will start collecting EVA Air planes.

I do have one annoyance, though, in my house.  When my room is cleaned, the worker always puts up the nose gear on the 747.  She never puts it down.  That is usually how I know that my room was cleaned.  I out the nose gear down and about a week later, it goes back up. 🙂
